6 reasons to join the Crocstar content community
Working in content design can be a rewarding career but we know it can sometimes feel isolating and challenging. That’s why we set up the Crocstar content community – a supportive space where content professionals can come together and share their thoughts and experiences.
Here are six compelling reasons why you should join our content community.

First ever social event hosted by Crocstar for content designers and content strategists who are a part of the Crocstar content community.
1. Connect with content professionals
The strength of our content community is in its diverse membership from various backgrounds and roles. As a member, you'll have the opportunity to connect with like-minded people who share your passion for content. We organise loads of events including content cuppas, summer socials and virtual learning events. It’s almost like networking but it’s not cheesy, forced or awkward – think of it as a room of friends you haven’t met yet.

As a content designer, you might be working on your own, which can make it difficult to get feedback or share ideas. In our content community, you get access to experienced professionals who are incredibly supportive. You’ll be able to engage in open discussions, ask questions and share your thoughts in an understanding environment. Our #content-questions channel on Slack makes it easy to get thoughts on your challenges and we like to celebrate the good stuff in our #wins channel.
3. Unlock a library of events
Conversations with industry experts within and beyond the content community have already been recorded and as a member, you’ll have access to all previous events available to view on demand. You can also attend future sessions led by seasoned content designers, sharing valuable insights on projects they’re working on and insights they’ve had. These events offer great oppotunities to expand your knowledge and stay informed about the latest industry trends.
4. Discover new career avenues
Community members often hear about job roles that aren’t widely advertised. Get in quick with our dedicated jobs channel and get the inside track. You can also ask advice from your peers if you’re considering a job or a career shift.

Since then she's helped me refresh my CV, shared interview tips, and we've chatted through many content questions with the rest of the community. I even found a new job - my first full-time content role - through the #opportunities channel. I find the monthly events really inspiring. 5. Tap into a resourceful network
Within our content community, knowledge sharing happens all the time: in questions, replies and even casual chats. Members contribute templates, articles and tools that have proven valuable in their content design roles. Our #recommendations channel is a treasure trove of insights, covering not only content-related resources but also ones for books, films, podcasts and more.
