Newest Crocstar join us after eight years of waiting (no really)

Crocstar welcomes its new Head of Content Sheida Heidari. She has worked in the publishing industry for over a decade: from national newspapers in Bahrain, to working on scientific journals in Switzerland and even writing articles for Cosmopolitan Middle East in Dubai. Sheida has spent the last five years working with educational and professional publishers.

Sheida’s relationship with Crocstar goes way back to 2012 where one of her lecturers at University of Derby was none other than Crocstar Director, Christine Cawthorne. The two stayed in touch throughout the years, catching up over lunch and trying to find ways to work together.

That time has finally arrived, eight years after their first meeting.

Sheida said: “I have always admired what Crocstar has achieved over the years and was itching to be involved in some way. So to now be the new Head of Content is such a thrill and I cannot wait to get started. I’m looking forward to getting to know all the people we produce campaign content and content strategies for, as well as finding more clients we can help.”

Sheida’s role involves looking after the Crocstar team, working closely with all our fab clients plus producing content.

Christine said: “We’re so happy to finally welcome Sheida into Crocstar. She has the perfect skillset for the role, brilliant experience and an outstanding attitude.”

Welcome to the Crocstar family, Sheida!

Got kids? You might like to take a look at the children’s book Sheida wrote Mr Alchemy’s Magical Tea. She’s currently writing a second book (but isn’t giving any spoilers).
