Getting started with user research as a content designer

Join us this month to learn about how to get started with user research as a content designer.

User research is useful when understanding needs and designing content for both products and services but sometimes we find ourselves having to take on this role as well.

Focusing on 1:1 interviews, in this session we’ll learn how to:

  • talk about the value of user research

  • decide how to recruit participants

  • conduct the research session safely

  • get colleagues involved

  • analyse and apply the insights

… and more.

Our speakers for this event are Lucy Pickering and Rania Nur from William Joseph. They have wide-ranging digital experience, working mostly with charity and healthcare clients. Lucy and Rania regularly run research and content testing as part of user-centred projects. In the last year, they have undertaken research for digital products for a variety of clients including: RSPCA, Mind, City Bridge Trust, NHS Providers, Hestia, Charity Digital and Local Trust.
